Technically, you do not need to be home during the grooming appointment. I can access your home safely using a gate code, door code, key, or remote entry—whichever you prefer. I will securely walk your dog on a leash and, after grooming, return them to a designated area such as a room or crate, based on your instructions.

However, for the first appointment, it is highly recommended that you are present. This allows us to discuss your preferred haircut, and for you to meet me and your dog to ensure a comfortable and positive introduction.

For the safety of both your dog and myself, it is essential that I am able to handle your dog without concern for potential biting or aggressive behavior. I only groom dogs that are fully friendly and cooperative with people. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide grooming services for dogs that display aggression.

If your dog is only reactive during specific tasks, such as nail trimming, I can use a muzzle to safely complete the service. Please be sure to inform me in advance of any sensitive areas or behaviors so I can prepare accordingly.

I prefer payment by cash or check; however, I also accept all major credit and debit cards. If you are not present at the time of service, I can send you an invoice that can be paid securely from anywhere in the world. Please note that invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the completed service.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a 50% charge of the full grooming price. Please text me, as I may be grooming or driving and unable to answer phone calls promptly.

If you’re unhappy with any part of the groom and your dog’s coat allows for adjustments, I’m happy to make corrections on the spot—please let me know before I leave your location. If I’m unable to make changes at that time, I offer a refund in cases of genuine dissatisfaction. To address concerns appropriately, I kindly ask that you notify me on the same day as the grooming appointment.

Not necessarily. Parking depends on the layout and traffic level of your street. I require a flat, level surface for the grooming van, and if your road is quiet and provides safe, level parking, I may not need to use your driveway. However, if the street is busy or uneven, I may request to park in your driveway for safety and stability. Shaded areas are also preferred to maintain a comfortable environment inside the van, especially during warmer months.

For safety reasons, I do not allow owners to stay inside the grooming van during the appointment. Most dogs become overly excited or distracted when their owner is nearby, which can make grooming unsafe for both the dog and the groomer. I kindly ask that you leave your dog in my care during the session. If you’re feeling concerned, I’m happy to send you photos or short videos during the grooming to show how your pup is doing.
